My wife works with a girl who's father(who has lived here for over 20 years and hasn't made an effort to learn english because of his disdain for America) said he would disown her if she went to work on may 1st. Emotions are a powerful tool.

I actually have a co-worker who I covered for last week who didn't want to be irresponsible and not show up for work, but didn't want to upset his family. He's 21 years old was born in Fresno and is the only one in his family who speaks english.

Huh? It's bad to come here illegally period. Coming here illegally and having children here is worse, because it harms the children (innocent victims) if you send back the parents where they belong.

The line I drew was between legal and illegal immigrants, and it's a known fact that hispanics which make up the vast majority of illegals breed much faster and in greater volume than all other groups in the U.S.

The problem that you and others choose to ignore (or wonderful news if you're part of "La Raza") is that the Mexican race will grow exponentially like a weed and snuff out opportunity for others of all races here.

To clarify, I'm not against hispanics coming here legally and living the American dream. I am against illegals coming here and breeding, and I'm against any population of immigrants that come here and leech off our welfare and health care system.

Illegals are bad...other than that, chill out on the hispanic-hating. Why do you care if the country ends up being 45%white, 35%hispanic, and 20% other...assuming it's all legal (I know it isn't now, but the article is talking about legal citizens who were born here). The only reason I posted in this thread is because you make no differentiation between your hatred for illegals and your hatred for hispanic Americans that happen to have a booming population.


Edit for yours: fair enough...next time pick a more appropriate article to go with your point then. This article is about relative growth rates of ethnicitys in the US population and how it's probably a good thing for our country.

Supposed fact #1: There are more illegal immigrants from Mexico than the total Asian U.S. Population!
Supposed fact #2: Asians are the largest group OUT OF ALL RACES/ETHNICITIES in California state Colleges, even though they are a small minority of "the immigrant pool."

First question what is the national language of the US? Second question do you consider Asian American's no longer American's since after all they are VERY cliquish. Our immigration policies/lack of enforcing policies favors illegal Mexican immigrants. We should all be mad about that fact. I keep hearing "ethnic diversity" from you bleeding hearts but thats not what the policies you so obviously favor reflect. Being an American means being a legal US citizen, if your not that then unless you're here legally, you need to leave. Its that simple. Halt illegal immigration, craft an immigration policy that does not favor one group over the other. Where are all of the European immigrants? Australians? Africans? Asians? They're waiting their turn I imagine, why not come here illegaly if the adverse consequences of that action are not bourne by you? That is the message we are sending Mexico. The question we should all be asking our government is why? Instead we're busy calling eachother racists, or going along with popular sentiment for fear of being labeled a racist. That is especially true in the states like CA that have very high hispanic population concentrations.
