Court Rules for White Firefighters in Discrimination Case
WASHINGTON — DEVELOPING: The Supreme Court ruled Monday that white firefighters in New Haven, Conn., were unfairly denied promotions because of their race, reversing a decision that high court nominee Sonia Sotomayor endorsed as an appeals court judge.
New Haven was wrong to scrap a promotion exam because no African-Americans and only two Hispanic firefighters were likely to be made lieutenants or captains based on the results, the court said Monday in a 5-4 decision. The city said that it had acted to avoid a lawsuit from minorities.
The ruling could alter employment practices nationwide, potentially limiting the circumstances in which employers can be held liable for decisions when there is no evidence of intentional discrimination against minorities.

Failure.
Imagine if you switched around the colors of her words. If a intelligent WHITE MAN said he he made better judgements because of the experience in his wealthy life from a white point of view than a latina woman. Everyone would cry and he would almost NEVER get a chance back at the Supreme Court Seat. yet she says it and somehow the media doesn't blow her up on this?
I hope she gets grilled while taking questions from the legislature.

In other words, they don't need to say it because it's obvious that's how they and the rest of the legislature think.
