I know the correlation I’m about to address is weak at best. However, I still think it speaks volumes about how Franken and others view Freedom of Speech as their golden ticket.

Just because you have the podium doesn't mean we care to listen to your drivel. Just because you have a breaking story that can jeopardize national security or a nifty calculator that can calculate mass destruction doesn't mean you should share it with the world. 30 minutes of rambling is one of the most inconsiderate things you can possibly do after being given an award. Serious character flaw if you ask me.
It’s too bad subaruguru is in Southeast Asia. He wrote a nifty little piece on Freedom of Speech for a couple law journals a few weeks ago. Maybe when he comes back I’ll remember to have him share it with us.
