wiring up control unit HELP
well i installed my boost gauge today did all the vacuum hoses correctly..
and i started with the wiring with the control unit
i decided to use the clock harness 4 wires, and the control unit needs 4 wires..
i match the colors , red with red, blue with white, blck with black, green with orange..
i turned on the ignition the control unit lights up plug in my gauge it works...
everything reads as they should now heres the problem
gauge only turns on when i turn on the headlights or interior lights....
and now the control unit wont TURN OFF!!!
even with my keys out and locked doors, the control unit will not turn off
im wondering what i wired wrong..
anyone know??
PLEASE !!!

Never use matching wire colors up as a reference, you never know what the circuit is just by wire color (unless you have the circuit manual).
I'd revisit your power/gnd connections with a DMM (multimeter). You must have some incorrect connections going on. I didn't use the clock harness for my circuits but it really doesn't matter......You need B+, 12vIGN, Ground, and Illumination all the same.
Test with the DMM at key on engine off, key on engine on, lights off, and lights on conditions. Then choose the circuits you need to connect to.
