Whiteline Swaybar Shifting Issues (was: Who sold me a painted Whiteline Swaybar?)
So I purchased a Whiteline adjustable rear sway bar that's PAINTED BLACK from an I-Club member sometime late last year. You actually came over to my house to drop it off. I'm just trying to find out who sold it to me.
Now the reason I need to find out is because I just recently got it installed and the passenger side endlink is rubbing up against the sway. GST Motorsports (awesome shop btw) initially said my car was too low but that wasn't the case so they suggested I might have the wrong sway bar. I'm not here to hunt anyone down for my money back or anything. I just can't remember what car it came off of and the specs on it. I've also deleted all my old sent and received PMs and the seller didn't leave feedback. If you're that person just PM me.
I'm going back to GST in a couple of weeks to get some other work done and would like to know if I have to get a new rear sway or not. I don't care about eating the cost, I just want to make sure the rear sway bar is the problem before i buy a replacement one.

FWIW my whiteline did the same thing, finally had to weld a bead next to the bushings, other rear sways like Perrin already come like that so yeah its not an uncommon problem

Searched through a bunch of threads and a couple of other forums, doesn't look like anyone is having the same exact problem. I'm hoping Krinkov is right and it'll be an easy fix. Maybe the pics will help with a solid solution.

your swaybar is clearly favoring the pass side. I suggest undoing the mounts....slide the bar to the driver side some to even out the difference. It seems very noticable that both endlinks are leaning towards the outside pass side.
My endlinks are perfectly vertical.

if it has the tendency to shift back over, u could have old/worn bushings on the mounts, or it could be some design flaw with the mounts. I wouldnt recommend welding on the sway bar at all, that would mess us the flex and give it a lot more twist than it should, stress points ftl!
