What's the best way to remove caliper paint?
I've tried searcing for a thread about this but couldn't find anything. So the previous owner decided to somewhat paint the calipers red but somehow turned out kinda orange and it's starting to bother me. so what is the best way to remove the caliper paint? i've noticed it's already starting to chip on some places of the caliper. should i just sand it down? any info will help. TIA!!

you want to talk experience? How about trying to remove the aircraft stripper with a with a wire wheel on the end of a die grinder while wearing a tank top. it was like getting hit with a 12 gauge of bird shot. But with a 30 second delay.

TRUTH!!! I painted my breaks and didn't put bolts in the holes of the bleeders and a lil fluid came out when I rotated to paint and when I installed. ATE Blue (or any other brake fluid) took the paint RIGHT off.

Yes, be careful using anything w/ methylene choride in it; burns like gonerrhea.
