what differentiates a wrx from an sti chassis/suspension wise?
just wondering, because as an integra owner, i know of a bunch of people that want to attempt to make their ls, gs, gs-r into a type r by getting type r springs, strut bars, sway bars, etc....
however, with the type r, the whole frame is actually more stiff than the regular integras.
so the question is, what's it like between the wrx and sti?

Different control arms(alum vs. forged), struts, springs, tophats, and possibly sways but I'm not sure about that. STI is just plain better for handling. Oh yeah...better diffs too Like DCCD MMMMMMMM good. The frames are the exact same to my knowledge.

Car Info: 02 Impreza WRX sedan
We are talking about the 2004 USDM STi, right? In addition, the STi struts are inverted for better control and durability. The bushings in the suspension and chassis might be harder durometer than the regular WRX. STi comes with slightly quicker ratio steering box than WRX (16.5:1), though not anywhere near the 13:1 box of the EVO VIII. Brakes are Brembo with rotors that look similar to DBA 'Kangaroo Paw' internal ventilation.
Pretty much all of these pieces can be bought and bolted onto the WRX.
