I use to have the Tein HA's on my 02 wag which were great for track and smooth roads but not so great for aournd town driving. If I was driving a track only car then coilovers would be on my car for sure. The ride height was sweet and the performance was tight! They were 16 way adjustible but even on full soft they were a bit harsh as slower speeds. At high speeds the car was so stable it kinda sucked down to the road as was very smooth.
The only thing with the HA's was that they kinda made a "squish" sound during rebound. And the after awhile the pillow-***** starting squeaking. Don't know if they fixed this but it started getting on my nerves pretty bad. Plus the wife was always giving me a hard time about a brand new car making all this crazy noises. It was kinda funny.

I no longer have my wagon, but I had the JIC FLTA2's that Vishnu sells on it. A little bumpy for daily driving (as most any coilover will be), but sweet perfection on the track.

well.. i went with the flexs.. very happy with ride. many people complain about how it is too bumpy, amd that the settings between stiff and soft do not make that much of a difference, btut im pretty sure that those who compalin of these things are just not used to a coilover suspension. i used to own a 1.8t jetta with h&r coilovers, and was very happy considering that they had no dampening adjustment, but the flexs are so much more versatile and the ride , for me is perfect. soft is just right for daily driving and hard performs amazingly. no weird noises like many complain of and the ability to change the dampening settings on top makes it so easy that the edfc is more of overkill in my opinion, for what i want the coilovers to do. .. overall well worth the 1500 spent on the setup.. now time for some sways and some brakes!
