Underbody Brace: Do they help?

Hi all.

I was just wondering if you guys can enlighten me if underbody braces help for the GC chassis?

Which braces would you recommend and are they worth the money?

TIA.

Yeah. I think the Tanabe ones retail for $88 or something.

you could go drift status and have the rear end stripped and put 9 different braces from your trunk all the way up to your rear windsheild.

Well, that one is the 2 point one, not the ladder looking one they have. I think the ladder looking ones retail somewhere between $160 and $200.

Kev, imho - totally worth it, if you are serious about handling. it was like a night and day difference with the h-brace on my L. After I installed, I felt the steering wheel "become heavier" but thats because the front wheels are so much more planted to the ground. I actually felt much less chassis flex on sweeping turns such as when I am on freeway on-ramps. (btw here is shameless plug - I have the jic 4 pt brace, see the last picture on this thread: https://www.i-club.com/forums/engine-power-ej20t-pre-2006-wrx-jdm-60/bpm-cross-over-pipe-install-pics-158723/ )

I noticed the same thing when we put the front and rear sway bar onto my ride. I think this would be a nice upgrade for less than $200. Where did you get your JIC 4pt?

P.S. We got the rear brake conversion done which was good. Just need a tons of money for suspension and a swap.

So, here I am threadjacking a little again... but...

So these are helpful right? Do the ones meant for the sedan's also fit the wagons for the wrx's? I know that things like the sway bars are close but aren't quite right....
