touge suspention
i'm looking into getting some touge suspention for my 02 wrx sedan once the snow melts. i want it to be stiff enough to handle, but to be easily controable and won't snap my spinal cord on bad tramac surfaces. i don't go on the dirt ever, and i don't do that much track. so i was thinking of maybe the sti spec c suspention or the cusco comp s, or something around that price range. i don't want anything like the tein ra or cusco 2r. does anyone knows what kind of suspention set up works best for touge? what's the spring rate on the spec c suspention? is there any other options around that price range?
any and every input is appriciated
thanks

what touge do you have near you in the USA?
I assume by that you mean good backroad handling, right?
Gather the entire V8 Spec C bits, or at least get Tein HG Coilovers.
You can't go wrong either way...

umm i thought touge just ment mountain roads, it's a *** word.
anyways, i drive around lake arrowhead, but it's snowing these days, and it won't clear untill april
thanks for all of your imputs, i was thinking of the spec c suspention, but i just have no idea how stiff it is.
how big of a difference is there between the stock spec c springs and the sti lowering springs?
how big of a difference is there between the 2 springs above and the sti tarmac springs and sturts?
thanks for all the imput guys!!

I have Ver 8 Spec C struts/ springs come with the struts. My car handles better with those than stock USDM STi struts, ride is firmer and less bouncy. According to this chart, the pink lowering springs has higher spring rate than stock ver 7 Spec C. IMHO, it's great for touge and I go like on weekly bases.

But this set up will cost you a few dollars so you may want to just try some sway bars, a good bushing kit (STi group-N), and maybe some good tires on 17" rims.
