what touge do you have near you in the USA?

I assume by that you mean good backroad handling, right?

Gather the entire V8 Spec C bits, or at least get Tein HG Coilovers.

You can't go wrong either way...

touge is a closed course, tarmac, mountain pass style road used for rally type events. Touge's are not open to public use, they are for racing/practice. we have no touge's in USA...

anyone with a lot of money to blow? buy some land, and build a touge!

If the roads you like to drive on are bad, I'd stick to the regular STi stuff. If they are pretty decent, get the stiffer Spec C stuff.

I have Ver 8 Spec C struts/ springs come with the struts. My car handles better with those than stock USDM STi struts, ride is firmer and less bouncy. According to this chart, the pink lowering springs has higher spring rate than stock ver 7 Spec C. IMHO, it's great for touge and I go like on weekly bases.

I have this set up but it's the Ver7 stuff with the adjustables. Great set up for all the sprited Touge mountain racing we do in the summer...not to mention HPDE at local road courses (Thunderhill, Sears Point, Laguna, Buttonwillow).

But this set up will cost you a few dollars so you may want to just try some sway bars, a good bushing kit (STi group-N), and maybe some good tires on 17" rims.
