1 way means that the compression and rebound are adjusted together. Basically you have X present for rebound/compression combination settings.
2 way means that you can adjust compression and rebound INDIVIDUALLY.
HOWEVER,
Sometimes, people misadvertise and refer to "2-way" adjustable coilovers as to 1-way + height adjustable.

so what im looking at says that the ss are 1 way height adj, and the flex's are 2-way height adj, which one should i go with, does it make a big difference. from what the discription says it seems like that the flex's can have the height adjusted two different ways............ how many ways would you want to adjust the height?????????up or down right. or am i missing the picture here?

ahhh now were talking. if its true ill get the ss cause im not really intrested in going higher than stock anyway. also comparing the pictures between the two and it does look like the flex's have more threads on the shock body for more length options
thxguys
anyone else with some insight ?

i always thought 2-way had threads above and below the spring. that way you can adjust the spring preload while still getting the proper strut travel.
your right, i spoke to dan from godsspeed, and first let me just add he is amazingly bright and willingly informative he said that the flex's are designed to lower the car and keep the same travel on the piston thus keeping the spring rate the same. on the ss the lower the shock is set , the harder the spring pushes back giving the car a harder ride, so basically the flex's you can set them low and still have the same comfort because of the design of the shock it allows you to adjust that feature. did i get that right ?phew that was fun..........
