Tanabe springs making noises?
hello again guys.. i have a question.. well i recently got tanabe springs installed in my 04 wrx.. but is it normal for the springs to be making noises? The problem is its only coming from the rear right everytime i hit bumps. what causes the problem and how can i get rid of the sound? thanks.

is it just springs installed on standard struts? if so they may not be seated prefectly in the mounts. how much lower is the car now sitting maybe the new springs are not tight when the strut is fully extended. i have tanabe coilovers and they just make noise, its something you can't always avoid when changing your car. sti suspension makes noise from the factory. hope this helps, but we may need a little more info about the set up for a better answer.

Check to make sure that your tops were installed the correct way. I had a shop install my springs and the tops were put on 180* out, causing my spring hit and rub in the fenderwell of the car.
