Strut Tower Braces
I just got a front and rear strut tower brace for my 02 rs, they look like the picture in a thread that was posted strut bar, they said they were sti jspec something or other. i got them for like 110$ bucks, i am wondering if there is any thing i should know about before putting them on, i know it should chang the handling of the car, but how. will the tires wear differently, will it handle different on snow, can i still do doughnuts with my car?

the bushings? how hard are they to get to and change?
are they expensive. what about the sway bar?
another funny thing that i did notice is that when i step on it and go into a turn it actualy feels like the *** and the front are not turning on the same radius, the front is tighter turning then the rear. it feels like they are on aseperrate tracks going around a turn. that is the best way i can describe it. i did change the tire pressure though, i put it up 3 lbs more in the back, and 3 lbs in the front, from the sticker that is on the door 29 front 32 back.
is there a good tire pressure to keep it at, i have stock rims and tires. thanks for any help.

strut bars
I just did the front strut bar on my WRX I have after market suspension and they do change on in my case mess up the handeling of the car.
The very appreciated and odd up side to the front bar (only one i did) is the the car seems to ride better now than it did before and is more composed in rough corners on the street.
The down side to the front is that it tuned all of the under steer back in to the car this is how ever just at the limits and was not discovered untill a week later @ the track. I have driven the front rear set up and that seems to nutralize the front bar induced understeer... so do both be happy, pad your AC line and all will be well.
PS cant see it effecting snow driving in the least although I will be able to tell you on monday.
