STi Strut Tower Bar - C.F. Anyone have it?

I was just wondering if any of you had the STi Strut Tower bar/brace made of carbon fiber offered by S.O.A., installed on your WRX or STis, and if you noticed any difference???? Any info on this topic is appreciated.

ps - I know that you can get cheaper strut tower bars but I like STi/OEM equipment. Thanks.

yeah, I can tell you after years of using a cf hockey stick, it does flex, I agree that it is best to go titanium

I have the STi carbon fiber brace. It doesn't flex anymore than the all-aluminum brace I had before which shall remain nameless. No strut brace is completely flex-free, and furthermore, the flex they have is usually more from the play in the dimensions of the bar. If you pick the carbon fiber (or titanium, or steel, or aluminum) strut brace in your hands, you can't noticeably bend it. For the record, the STi c/f bar is made by FHI's aerospace division- the same guys who make wings for F-16 fighter planes. I don't think a strut bar is too difficult of a feat of engineering for them.

Unless the strut bar

is forged 6/4 titanium, it will flex more than the properly made carbon or aluminum one. I love titanium, have two mountain bikes made of it, but the flex is a benefit to some extent there. Titanium isn't what I would want for a brace. Aluminum, or properly laid carbon should easily be stiffer.
