Rotor groove???question 05STI
Hey people I was looking at all my rotors today, and on my left front rotor there is a groove in the rotor (you can see it and feel it with your finger). In the center of the rotor that goes all the way around. Is that a problem? does anyone else notice this?
Best regards,
Best regards,

Update: just came back from the dealer
Just took car to the Albany Subaru...my car only has 12000 mile on it. They balance one of my wheel (the weight was missing?? on one wheel) just rotate wheels from the back to the front. I don't remember ever seen the weight on that one wheel.
Anyways I also ask them to inspect the rotor:
and here is the inspection report:
"CUSTOMER REPORTS THE LEFT FRONT ROTOR HAS GROOVES. INSPECTED FOR CONCERN AND FOUND VERY SLIGHT GROOVES IN THE LEFT FRONT ROTOR, SHOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM"
At least I have this thing documented, so if my problem got worst after the warranty exp. I can still prove it started during the warranty peroid (Still have 24000 miles before it exp.)
