Rear subframe locking bolt installation

It locks the subframe.

I thought about doing it and decieded against it. In case I smack into a curb, in stock form the rear subframe will shift. If you "lock" it, your frame will get tweaked.

Best thing to do is to get STi or CUSCO frame bushings. Same effect as "lockin" it, but it will still slide in case of an accident.
