Prodrive BBK Info
Wow, our customer service is so good that we're doing Prodrive USA's job for them!! Here are some vital statistics of the Prodrive BBK that is sold in the US:
There are actually two different kits that have been sold in the US. From the knowledge I have right now, they are exactly the same except that the newer calipers have different (should be larger) piston sizes to accomodate for the difference between the US car which is equipped with a two piston sliding front caliper, and the non-US car which is equipped with the Subaru 4 Piston opposed, fixed front caliper.
The caliper used in the Prodrive kit is an Alcon B-Type caliper that takes a racing pad shape. This pad shape comes in many thicknesses, but the thickest pad that can be used in the Prodrive BBK is 16mm or 0.620". Here is a diagram of the pad and part numbers for this pad shape for some popular friction manufacturers:
Hawk Performance: HB105.620
Performance Friction (PFC): 7700.XX.16.44, where XX is the compound
Pagid: U1595
Ferodo: FRP1077
Axxis: Not Available
Here are some measurements of the rotors:
Outer Diameter: 330mm
Nominal Thickness: 28mm
Discard Thickness: ??mm
Radial pad height: 49mm
Bolt pattern: 5x100mm
Height: 62mm (approximation based on a very used rotor)
