hello fellow subie owners. i had my subie for little over a year now. eversince i had it, it has made popping, knocking, screeching noises. ill explain more. i own a 2005 STI with almost 30k on it. idk much about cars so i need some help. from other forums this was normal for some or most subies to have this or something. well just want to make sure. ok here it goes, the sceeching noise is when im in reverse and braking, not regular driving, only in reverse, or if im rolling on neutral down a hill. popping, knocking noise from rear right side, happens when im turning, not all time, or when accelerating then letting go real fast. also this other screeching noise while im driving on my rear left side, when i go over bumps or bumpy things, i think my ball joints maybe but not sure. if you know any information, or ways to fix it, let me know. thanks lots.

 

 

haha funny but seriously i need help with this. its getting on my nerves, and really irritating. sounds unsafe too.

but it could be the infamous "sti clunk"
