I painted them silver using the G2 caliper epoxy paint. It takes some prep-work (i.e. it is important to follow the dirctions) but the results come out VERY nice. Looks tons better than rattle-canning the calipers.

I got mine from my buddy who runs No Limits Motorsports. And I didn't remove the calipers at all (it is a brush-on paint, brush is included with the kit) although caliper removal is VERY easy if you need to.

I just installed a Stoptech BBK. My WRX is Black Pearl so I stayed with the standard paint job from Stoptech, an almost flat black. To get the rear calipers to look a little better than the little rusty ... whatever. I got a can of spray on flat black header paint good to 1500 deg. F. This is a very close match. The difference is indistinguishable between front & back.
Can't comment about durability as this was just completed this AM. I will post up some pix when Isabel blows by.

Having been thru this one before....
The differences on the Epoxy paints are two :
1. They are glossier than any rattlecan. And the gloss doesn't fade. Of course, this would be a DISadvantage if you're trying to match a flat black (BTW, sure sounds cheap of Stoptech to not even spring for a decent paint job on the calipers in a $1600 set of brakes!)
2. They stand up a LOT better to chemicals (think brake cleaner or brake fluid, which will QUICKLY remove any rattlecan paint!) and the test of time.
Of course, the rattlecan is definitely cheaper. I just hate having to redo a job multiple times to keep it looking good....

There is much to said for doing something right the 1st time. Stoptech does offer a painting option for $200 & 2 week wait. Red, silver, blue, & gloss black (I think that is all).
I have followed a few of the threads about Epoxy paints & then all of a sudden the BBk was here ... needed to be installed ... and no paint. Doh! Also wasn't certain what or where to get the Epoxy stuff.
