Need Some Thoughts/Insights About Lowering Springs
Hi,
I drive a 03 WRX and am looing for the best lowering springs for my car. What I'm looking for are springs that will lower your car nicely, with an agressive look to it. But also at the same time not making the car too low. I want to be able to drive over moderate potholes and like speed bumps without having any trouble of having my car's chassis being hit. I heard the prodrive ones were great, that they didn't drop the car that much.
Need some help/comments/thoughts about this.

One thing that may help is to find a pic of another WRX that shows the kind of drop you are looking for! Post that pic. This way folks here will get an idea of the drop you are looking for, then can asses the ride quality based on the drop.

As long as you dont put an aggressive front lip on, you should eb fine with most choices. Prodrive and Pinks are pretty mild. Then Swifts, RCE, Cobb, Perrin, etc. The more aggressive tanabes are a little lower, and anything past that is not that great.

Ye i was thnkin aobut prodrive lowering springs, but was wondering if i put a lip on it with the prodrives at the same time. Would be ok for driving on the street and such?

Coilovers are NOT the way to go. If you plan to track you car heavily, sure. Even if that is the case, most of us drive our cars outside the track. The ride with even softer coils is not even close to what you can get with a strut/spring combo. This is my recipe for the perfect moderate duty suspension:
Koni Sport inserts (adjustable)
Springs: (H&R, Crucial, Swift, STi pink) No prodrive or Eibach(they're the same)
Group 'N' top hats front and rear
22mm FSB
24-26mm RSB.
This combination of parts will get you a very well mannered street driven WRX with adequate performance characteristics.
With a turn of the dial the Konis go from full soft to 200% stiffer with infinite adjustment in between. Making a very agressive strut/spring combo for the track and sprinted driving.

I also agree with ipozestu, and for me personally I would add Tokico D-specs to the list of struts to consider. I used to have Cusco 02R's, but they were too much for me on the street, and I didn't track the car enough to warrant having them. A spring/strut combo was the perfect fit for my needs. I'm on D-specs and Swifts , perfect for me as a daily driver, and occasional track day (1-2 per year). It takes the potholes decently, but still try to avoid them like the plague.
I've also tried AGX's on the Swifts, as well as the Prodrives and H&R's. So far the current set-up is my favorite for my needs.

With any lip on a lowered car, you just need to be a bit conscious of sudden inclines, curbs, or huge speed bumps. The main ones are sudden sharp inclines /declines. Just need to take them at a bit of angle. No different than owning a porsche or any sports car. Otherwise its totally fine. Obviously, the deeper the lip, the more you have to be aware

Prodrive would be a good choice, but they unfortunately are hard to find since Prodrive USA closed up recently. Swift would be another great choice that's easy to find.
Our RCE springs are a little too stiff for stock WRX struts, but if you upgrade to Koni or Tokico they're even better then they are for the STi.
