Kyb Gr-2
Hi;
Just got a full set of KYB GR-2 along with Group N Tophats and Prodrive Spring. The install will be done next week but what I been hearing about them is very good. Will get back to you to let you know how they perform.

I have a set on my 93 L sedan. They are so much better than what I took off, but then they were totally shot. I saw one website quoting that they are 20 percent stiffer than stock. At any rate I love mine. Cornering improved greatly and no more bouncing or bottoming out. Good entry level suspension upgrade if you ask me.

I was debating on the kyb gr-2 or the AGX's.... But I use my suby as a daily drive and I know I may do a little canyon driving but I don't think i will be adjusting them at all, I had the tockico illumina on my Stang and I set them and never touched them again.....
The price is better on the GR-2's

I have them on my Protege (I know I know, not the same), they're good quality, especially if you're lowering a little (like 2" or less), if you go lower than that I would say get the AGXs. KYB makes good stuff though, I've been very happy with them, they are forgiving enough on crappy roads, but don't have that floaty feeling you can sometimes get with more "comfort tuned" suspensions.

kyb does not reccomend agx for drastic lowering. The numbers are from kyb, via email.

KYB GR-2, Prodrive Springs and STI Tophats WRX 2002
Well, did the install Saturday and the handling is a lot of better. The car was lowered around 3/4" and I like the way it looks now. Planning to take the car to check the alignment within few days once the suspension settles down. My setup is KYB GR-2, Prodrive Springs and STI full set Tophats.
