I need some suggestions, I broke something on my coilovers

Hi everyone,

So I believe I'm the moron of the day, perhaps even of the year. This morning i found out my suspension was loose from the top, and I went around tightening all four suspension. The problem was that when i got to the last screw on back right suspension, I couldn't feel it tightening up. Hence I kept going and then "popped" the entire screw plus the thing the sticks up broke off. Now I'm clueless of what to do. Is it safe to keep driving my car with just two screws holding up that particular side? Is a Helix DNA coilover repairable? If I replace it, do i need to replace all four? Can someone please give give me, the idiot, some great advice?

you should be able to replace the broken stud. call helix or call around to the shops in the bay and see what they can do for you.

Does anyone know if Helix, the company, is still around? I can't seem to find their website.

I think it is just a standard stud. You might need to take the said corner out and put that bolt back in. Those bolts are only hand tightened to like 30 ft-lbs. Not a whole lot. My friend stripped a bolt like that on his coilover set-up and was able to find a replacement pretty easily.

Oh thats great. I was worried that it wasn't a standard bolt and I was trying to find Helix's number to order it. But now i don't have to worry about it. =) thanks!
