OK I just called TEIN... here's the deal w/ the BASIC:

ETA: late Jan / early Feb.
Price: $990 (for '02+ WRX)

For those who don't know, the TEIN BASIC is the sedans answer to the TEIN WGN. They are hiehgt-only (non-damper adjustable coil overs. Seems like a decent deal if you're in the market for new struts and springs.

When do you think they will be providing what the ride will be like on there strut spring setup. Will it be something like the STi suspension??

Good to hear... so you can finally stop trying to steal mine. Haha.

To you sedan guys, my WGN's are excellent. No too many things to fuss around with, just height. That means less error on settings. I know if I had a buncha settings to deal with I'd be in trouble. The ride is great.

I don't know what the STi is like, but Im guessing (from what I've heard) is that the STi is a bit stiffer than these. What I felt when I rode in Marc's (OwlBoogie's) wagon is that it performed at least as well as just TEIN springs... not too much better in terms of delivering sheer stiffness. But it was a correct strut/spring match, unlike my TEIN springs and stock struts. So you get better response in all senses, plus since its perfectly matched to itself and the car it can better devlier performance and maintain a better level of comfortabilty at the same time. Its basically "doing springs right".
