Sorry my mistake. I corrected the statement above.

I can see myself getting that kit. I cannot stand my braking bias. its like 60/40.

My old 1986 subaru ahve a 50/50 setup which work great in wet and dry.

My only problem not is pads. What pads would fit fromt eh aftermarket like CarboTech and Ferodo.

But thats a nice upgrade. I will check here to see if I can get them here.

How are you calculating your numbers?

Before you guys go recommending that people should put these huge rear Legacy setups on thier cars, I recommend you take a good hard look at what it does to the balance of the car it's going on. You guys should know that nearly all front engine cars come stock with rear rotors that provide enough heat capacity for race use. Sounds odd, but for the most part it's true. Subaru's are no exception.

I have driven in cars with almost 50/50 setup. So I knwot he difference.

With that distribution, slowing down is even, less nose dive and more stress on the lower part of the back.

I am not recommending this for anyone, but its like riding on R-compound tires. You never go back.

my nose dive is not that much and you can feel the brake brakes pulling, but @ a nice distribution. more like 60/40 ff/rr.

USA like more Front bias that Japan.

Since my car is a JDM, my distribution is very good for normal driving.

I think what you mean by "50/50" is that the fronts and rears lock up at the same time in a full stop. If they truly had equal braking force at the rotors, your fronts would never lock up, your stopping distances would be dismal, and you would crash. JDM cars have the exact same braking bias as American cars. They use the same physics we do over there.

The USDM rotors and calipers are different, especially the calipers.

USDM carry bigger Calipers from what I understand.

So I cannot just order calipers from the USA for my JDM.

Notice my words, almost 50/50.

There lock up and we do not crash. But your driving changes. You actual use less brakes.

For instance, on one of the tracks here, with the STI pads all round, you actual over brake before you get to a 90 degree turn. With the WRX we have not, it would not be over brake. Witht he STI, there just less braking and not much is apply.

Its like upgrading your sway bars. I bet you that you do not turning in like you use to.

I will get the H6 sometime next month.

I will let you know how it goes.

In the mean time, I will get my camber and toe check and maybe change. I am interested to see what my stock cambers are.
