Eibach Pro Kit for WRX Wagon's - the latest!
My Wagon got to be the prototype tester
Eibach fitted them to my car last week. Uses the WRX sedan front spring with a new Wagon specific rear spring. I was told that based on their experience with my vehicle that the production rear spring will be set a bit higher than the ones on my car now. I will post pictures once I get the production spring. No idea when that will be, but I'll try and find out...
Preliminary review: Feels very balanced front to back ride quality wise. I do carry about 26 pounds in the back routinely. Ride quality over most roads is near to stock. I have 17" Rota Battles with 215.45's Firestone FZ50 EP's. Steering response is now much better, a lot less roll, car feels much more buttoned down in the corners. The car takes a set progressively, and a lot quicker. Less understeer, but not any more oversteer - Yes it's true. Less nose lift on acceleration, and less dip on braking. The whole car feels more responsive. I look forward to driving it more! Generally works pretty well with stock struts. I get a lot more out of these tires with this set of springs! Bigger handling improvement than I thought, also less ride penalty than I would have guessed - nice real world road compromise.
This is all based on the prototype set of springs I now have on the car.

This just in from Eibach: "We should have about 20 new WRX Wagon Pro-Kits in stock within 3 weeks. The kit number for the WRX Wagon is 7711.140. You may post this information if
you like".

nice, it's about time they came out with a kit for the wagons. i wouldn't be surprised if they already lost a lot of business by taking so long to get the product out.
how much does the kit lower the car?

Just springs so far, though Eibach mentioned doing a rear swaybar in the future. Pictures coming when I get the production spring installed - still have the prototype which is lower. I think it'll look better with the production spring, which is why I am waiting to post pictures.

I would think anyone who normally carries Eibach's could order the Wagon's for you
I recently ordered from gruppe-s.com, they have good prices and good communication. Noticed they carry Eibach Might ask them...
I'd like to try some different struts with these springs eventually... just to get that last 20-30% of control over bigger bumps/dips.

All I know the vendor for wagon spring is TEIN, and they also have complete coilover kit without damp selection. I like both Eibech and TEIN. But if Eibech will not have coilover kits. TEIN will be the only choice for coilover suspension.
However, for people just need spring, Eibach is a good choice. I had my 240sx before with eibech. It lower the car just in good level, no too low, and the reponse and feeling is excellent, not too hard for cruising. So, if only change spring, I believe Eibech is good choice.
