A Different Clunking from my Tein Flexs

Well, my coilovers have the clunk that everyone seems to get, but I also have another one. My front left coilover clicks when i brake hard or lock my steering all the way to the right. It appears that the adjustment rings rotate themselves down a little bit and the spring loses its preload so its shifts around, making all the noise. If i tighten the rings up, the clicking goes away for like a week and then comes back. I've cleaned the coilover, so its not grit in the threads, but I'm starting to think that maybe the rings are cross threaded on the strut. Anyone agree or have another opion?

Mine have come loose before...

Mine never clicked but I did notice that the locking ring would come loose every once in a while...

I went ahead and measured all the struts and adjusted them to my liking, and when i was satisfied that they were at a place I was going to leave them, I put a small dab of Loctite on the threads...

So far, I have not had to re-tighten the locknut...
