Comparing USDM vs. JDM allumi control arms

I have come across a difference in the front alluminum control arms as to how the front endlinks connect to the arm. I believe I have a set of JDM control arms that I'm putting on my subie, but at work( Jenson Suabru in Napa) we have a USDM control arm on the shelf in the back, and the design for the front endlink mount is different to mine that I have a home. Here are some pics:

Notice the nice 90 degree mount.

Notice how it's angled???

What's going on here? I'm I going to run into mounting issues?? Is there special endlinks that I'll need??

Discuss!

Is the US one off of a 04-06 STi, 07 STI, or is it the SPT one?
04-06 USDM STi cars were outfitted with JDM Spec-C front control arms. I will have to crawl under my car to see if the endlink tab is at an angle or not.
