Coilovers vs STI take offs Spec C etc

Well I would like a little help; I am new to the whole "Foot Work" thing. I am in the market for a suspension upgrade and am not sure what way to go. The car doses not get a lot of use. I will spend more time at the track this summer. In saying that it will still be only 10% of it use. I was thinking of going with Spec C take offs or something equivalent. The other option would be coilovers. I am not looking to spend a ton of money, really the cheaper the better. Would take offs be better than Tein Basics or SS? I have seen other coilovers such as Nex, Omni etc. I do not need to have an opening price point coilover. If the mid range or top end is better suited I could go that way. Also what are the costs to install. Any opinions? Thanks for the help.
