Brembo Caliper Painting ?
Hey guys,
I just upgraded to the R-180 rear end and I have some scarred up Brembo brakes, I was wondering. . . .
Is there a place where I can send them to get refinished the brembo Red ?
Is there a way to do it myself (besides the brush on stuff) ?
Thanks
Austin

You can send them to a powder coater and have them redone. I've done many engine parts on my VW at a local powder coater in Santa Clara. I know you don't want the brush on stuff...but I just did my calipers with G2 caliper paint and it turned out really nice. It's cheap and it's not difficult to do with a little patience. The SUBARU logo s are high temp stickers I got from ebay...

I used normal powdercoat on a valve cover and it was fine for the almost 1.5-years it was on the motor. The powder coater recommended a high-temp powder (but they didn't have as many color options). I took the risk and it was just fine. It's your call. Any good powder coater should have samples to show you, in both regular and hi-temp.
Good luck!
