i not sure how different my rex is from your legacy but when you bleed a rex you start from the right front , left rear, left front and right rear. here is a picture for ya. and if you need more info check out www.scobbymods.com

You should be able to empty and refill your system with 1.5 quarts. That is even with quite a bit of "extra" to make sure that the old stuff is out.
