it should be pretty straight forward.

for reference, heres the info for 00-04.






that should get you started...

I'd reccomend breaking #11 on the sheet(self locking nut) while the strut is still on the car and likewise tightening it fully when on car.

this is the oem subaru service manual.

you may be able to buy the info specific to your generation at http://techinfo.subaru.com/ if you really wanted to.
