Quote from a customer:

"I took a pretty aggressive drive up hwy xx and it was tracking through the corners brilliantly. It was knight and day difference from the stock front knuckles."

These can be found at: LIC Motorsports + Knuckles Catalog | LIC Motorsports

I installed the basic kit yesterday, without having to take the axles out to press on the tone ring spacers.

Drove around today doing some errands. Steering is much sharper and feedback to the steering wheel is increased compared to running the 04 STi knuckles (and bearings). Makes my Q-Rack feel like new again. Tracking through turns is more precise and adding power mid corner doesn't lead to understeering. Highway driving is a little more relaxed because the car isn't wandering as much as before, I don't have to correct the car as much.

Overall I'm happy with the upgrade and hope to be changing bearings less often.

Thanks for the feedback jdblock...everything you feel is spot on (vs. the 04 stuff). I can assure you the 05+ wheel bearings will last you 10x the amount of time as the old style. If its means much, in over 2+ years of racing we have yet to replace our bearings. I know others who competitively race there Subaru's and they have never replaced there's either. Although track/race cars see less mileage they do see much more heat and harsher loads...so I think that comparison will still reign true for street applications.

Glad you are enjoying the kit, we ensure it was direct plug-n-play fitment with zero sides effects; even down to the install.

I would be happy with 2x as long. This is the road I went and drove today. Cruised down to the bottom and did a hill climb back up about 2,000' of a climb. I put my car through hell sometimes. Gave my diffs a workout around that hairpin and a few others as well. Your conversion kit is awesome! Thanks for making it available to the public, and so I can enjoy my car that much more.

I have 5x114 hubs re-drilled for 5x100 with ARP studs. LIC should offer this as an option.

We have it in the works but doing the CAD design, CNC work, and to make it worth while we need a bunch of confirmed units upfront, otherwise we have a part we've invested into with zero interest....so far there hasn't been a lot of interest as of yet

Catch-22? No part, no interest. No interest, no part.

Sorry I missed this response jdblock. Ha ha, yes I agree with what you're saying. Just needs to make sense on our end, its really as easy as me getting it done but that = me shelling out a bunch of funds. I have no issues with doing that, as long as I see a vested interest in others. As of yet I have not seen that and yes I agree with your statement. Everyone wants to see something tangible and be able to look, smell, touch it....but at this moment in time, I can't justify my money going there (at this moment anyways).

Just added a complete LIC Motorsports 5x100 to 5x114.3 conversion kit to the online store. This kit is tailored for the 2004 STi (also fits various JDM model STi's), as this is the only model in the USDM lineup that can do a complete swap over without having to change everything.

Check it out!
