WRX STI 2006 lights (day time lights)

how do i turn these things off or disable them (day time driving lights)

dont put the e brake down, there should be a switch(when e-brake goes down completes circuit and lights come on) on the e-brake under the center console, correct me if im wrong anyone but this is how it is on my other cars.

Do NOT disable the DRLs by messing with the e-brake switch. That switch is not there just for the DRLs, when the e-brake is up the switch turns on the "Brake" light on the dash. You don't want that light on all the time.
The proper way to disable the DRLs is to disconnect the control module that is located by the passenger kick panel next to the glovebox. This information is available readily here, at NASIOC and Scoobymods.

...I've always wondered why anyone would want to disable the DRL...just to mod something on the car?
