STI '06, how much did you pay?

How much before tax, title and registration? I have been able to get discounts of $1500 off MSRP.... but I do not want to pay more than $31k before tax... is that feasible?

Gil, is that on a new STI? How did you get that price? Did you deal that price for a couple of months or so?

i think i got the best deal so far!!!

i intended to buy a 06 sti but was a lil' shy of a $5000 down payment. so i went down to "cross creek lincoln, mercury, and subaru," here in fayetteville, nc(military) to see if i qualified for a 2006 sti. i had a 01 celica with about $5000 worth of mods in it, minusing the 19" spider axis rims. it was about $3000 worth of parts into it. anyways, trying out for the qualification, we did our business, he said since you owe 13,000 on the celica, your blue book value was worth only $7500. "he said," we'll give you 10,000 for it if you can pay us $3000 to finish off the payment. ****! i said hell yeah, but not in those words. when they check my credit report, they said i have outstanding credit and qualified for it. so heres the deal, "i said," i wanted a crystal gray metallic which was only available in jacksonville for $33,893. it had a security sensor kit, and fog lights. i asked the dude in these simple words... "i need to bargain here, i want to bring it down to 30, 000 flat." "he said" ok with a $2000 down payment we can do that. dude i was like WTF!!! im buying a car tomorrow!!! it was a thursday and i got the car the next day friday for 28,000, 1.9% interest, no tax because im air force. now how does that sound? i couldnt be any happier.

06 STi $100 over invoice from Irvine Subaru. They threw in auto-dim/compass mirror. and most dealerships already throw in mats. I took a t-shirt too
