Need Help With STI Purchase/Modification Questions
Alright boys... After a day of thinking about it. I'm buying an 04 Java Black STI. Sticker was 32K but the best price i can get is 30,200 Before taxes and Tags. I drove it and i ****ing love it. My main questions are as follow's..
1. How are the STI's responding to Mods?
2. What's the weakest link so far with the STI's?
3. Isn't Subaru Retarded for not installing a Stereo?
4. Am i going to get tired of the car?
I test drove 3 cars today.. 04 Z06, 03 Mustang Cobra and the STI. Personally if the Z06 was 20K cheaper i would go with it but it's not. I want something that'll be a great daily driver, Deliver good performance and respond well to mods. Is the STI just what i'm looking for? Thanks

2. not much really....stock tranny can handle 6Krpm launches all day long

theyre releasing an AFTERMARKET ecu....to replace the stock one...this will give the tuner complete control of fuel, timing and spark to extract the most out of the motor
this aftermarket ECU has nothing to do with Subaru corporate
