I know it has been gone over tons of times, and i have used the search function and read countless reviews. But i decided to ask my fellow i-clubbers once and for all. Which intake provides the best sound for your turbo beasts? I know which tend to give the best gains, and in what RPM range, but im asking strictly for sound. Under hard throttle and release to hear the stock BOV, or the trubo spooling up.. that kind of stuff. Examples are welcomed from different people with diffferent intakes. Im tending to lean more toward the Injen Race Division at this point. i hear it gives decent gains and provides a wonderful turbo spool sound with an amplified stock bypass valve sound. Thanks! Do short rams make more spooling sound than CAI''s?

I have a 03 WRX with a AEM cold air intake, HKS BOV, and HKS catback exhaust. I love the intake and BOV. The intake sounds awesome. You can really hear the turbo spool up and then you hear the BOV release the pressure. The exhaust is very nice too. The intake doesn't do much but the sound is addicting. I think it's louder than a short ram but I'm not sure. Hope this helps. Any questions let me know. Oh ya, no CEL's either!
