go to any smog shop have them do a "pre test" there free and are not recorded then work your way from there

 

The bottom line is that you dont NEED to smog it to sell it just put in your copy of the bill of sale that the new owner will be responsible for finding all of the neccessary equipment to make it pass when it is due in 2 years and your set. Im sure theres still people that will buy it in its current condition regarless of the smog issue. As long as they agree and sign to those terms you should be fine

yep any car within 4 years doesnt need it. Keep in mind when they do need it, it's the sellers responsibility to smog it.
