lucky you, I on the other hand, wont be getting a wrx anymore, was supposed to get it tonight...but parents called insurance and it turns out my insurance will costs 10,000 a year.....2500 for every 3 months, and that is WITH a 1000 deductible. I live in california, bay area, and parents wont get me the car anymore, or at least not until the end of this year, when i turn 19, and by then, my insurance for the wrx will be only 2700 A YEAR...7300 dollars in difference.

the WRX is the greatest deal ever.. an integra TYPE R costed 27k-29k. a WRX. less then a type R. so many cars that are worse than a WRX cost more than the WRX> its so ironic. hehe

i payed...
i payed 30 grand for my wrx sedan but i got me a 02 in january 2002 with all luxeries accept the gold rims cuz i personally think they are butt ugly to have gold rims (unless u r a pimp with dice in the mirror). i put 8 grand cash down and i pay 370 for 5 years but i am going to be 2 years paid off this coming january. As counting the warranty as a bonus,it means nothing to me since i have so many mods im sure warranty was voided long ago, hahah. I dont mind though cuz imports always last and if it dont, grrrr. Its hard to keep a wrx stock. If i see someone with a stock WRX,it bugs me,hehe. I just think in my head ::You should of bought a freakin KIA or Corolla if you werent going to mod your car::, but to each is their own . Anyways, i love my wrx and still have much fun with it. MY wrx is pushing 255 HP safely .

I too am in the market for my closeout 03 before the end of may. I found an 03 loaded (short, spoiler, turbo gauge, mats, armrest, speakers, sub, mirror) and can get for 24K however it is a showroom model but it still has 350 miles on it. i imagine it has been in their inventory for a while. i've heard at least one strong disapproval for a high mile demo but was wondering if it would be worth it if i get some $$$ off for it being a demo. Or is 350 "WAY TOO MANY" miles to even consider it...thanks for any inputs. every piece of info helps.

Dealers are getting $750 from Subaru to get rid of the '03's..most will sell the car at invoice-$750. Check www.carsdirect.com to price your '03 with options to see what the invoice pricing is. I got my '04 with the premium package, and the performance 1 package for 25k (before tax and licensing). Check www.edmunds.com to see what kind of incentives dealers are getting to get rid of cars...=)

I went to the cardirect site and the only thing I could price out was a 04', no spot for an 03'. It would be good to know walking in to the dealer what the price will actually be rather then them marking everything up...

Bought my 04 WRX wagon at invoice for $22,018, and all my options at invoice, and the 7-yr/100,000-mile Gold Plus warranty with $0 deductible at invoice ($1230 vs. $2495 retail), and the only fee I paid was destination. Didn't even have to step foot inside the dealership.
