Engine Runs really bad
First off..Hi I'm new.. ok now that that is out of the way I have a problem with my 02 wrx. I got my oil changed and about two hours after my car would not accelerate correctly.. almost seemed as if it had a miss or something. It runs fine in reverse and at idle but as soon as I drive forward and try to make boost the engine studders really bad and the C E L flashes. My car is at my local roo dealer now and they said they have no idea what is wrong. I think my computer just might need to be reflashed...but I could be wrong. Just for some more info I have a Greddy type s bov, an AEM cold air, and an APEX I turboback exhaust. I have had these mods for about three months and no problems..that is untill my oil got changed.. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

First off I'm thinking that one of the sensor plugs was loosend and came loose. Under the car it could be the front O2 sensor and under the hood it could be any one of several. Was the service preformed at a cheepy oil plce like Jeffy?? Did you fill up with a load of bad gas AFTER the oil change?? eddie

Welp they figured it out after ripping most of my car apart. Back in October I had the main engine wiring harness replaced because a squirrel chewed through the old one. Anyway they found that when they replaced it they failed to clip in one of the ignition coil plugs and it had vibrated loose. It was just a coinsidence that it got loose after the oil change. Subaru fixed it for free. YEAH!!
