Cleaning my MAF (with pics)

I think the key here is to NOT use the spray tube that comes with most cans of contact cleaner, because that concentrates the spray force and hits the wire pretty hard. If you just use the bare nozzle, without the tube, I don't see that having enough force to cause damage. I use an electrical contact cleaner which is mostly xylene, it evaporates almost instantly. I've used it on CPU connectors, RAM and a lot of other touchy components with no problems.

Use Electronic QD Cleaner or equivalant over alcohol for sure.
