>>>>>Cheapest dealer to buy WRX from????
I'm looking into buying an '04 WRX in the next 1-2 weeks. I'm will to travel anywhere as long as the deal is good.
I'm looking for an '04 WRX in WRC blue
Dark gray int.
Short throw shifter (prefered, but doesn't have to have)
No spoiler (prefered, but can live with it)
I found a WRC blue '04 with shifter and spoiler here in FL for $23,500.
If you know anyone that can beat that price. Or a dealer that you bought yours from for less, please let me know.
Thanks,
-Tony

Thanks for the help guys. I finally have a day off today so I decided to give all the local Suby dealers a call and do a price comparison.
Turns out I can get a WRX w/o spoiler and short shifter for $21,800 from Fitzgerald Subaru in Clearwater Florida.
The saleman said that he can do a dealer locater and see if he can find a WRC blue one, if not the price would be the same to order a fresh one.
I'm still waiting to hear back from 2 more dealers on their quotes.
Btw, if you do live here or want to buy a WRX from Fitzgerald Subaru, ask for Juan Hernandez.

Bas,
No problem, we will probably have 05's on the ground by then. I don't have prices on them yet, but when I get them I will be sure to post them on I-club for everyone. If you have any questions give me a call.

Hey Jeff, I am in the immediate market for a WRX. I would have picked it up today but the dealer said Subaru put out some recall on the cruise control and they were not allowed to sell me it today. Let me know what you can do via email, I'll see if it's worth my time to drive out to Pittsburgh.

jeffemp, how come you could go so low below invoice? Is it the whole supply and demand thing? Not a whole lot of demand over there? Most I've seen over here (bay area, ca) is at invoice. Just wondering, is your $1250 below invoice for STi as well? Do you still give qualify buyers the special interest rate along with that?

Tht deal is for a cash price. I can go $500 under on a finace buy. STI's are going for 1% over invoice.

...how he is doing this. The $1250 below he is quoting for a cash buyer includes the $750 rebate from subaru PLUS the $500 manufacturer to dealer rebate.(http://www.edmunds.com/new/2004/suba...npt..7.Subaru*)
..let's see, $750 + $500 = $1250, what do you know! He is still selling at invoice, but getting $1250 under with rebates from subaru! Don't worry though, he is still making money if you go below $1250 on invoice....there is the 3% (on MSRP!!) holdback subaru will give the dealer. So, 3% of $25000 list price is $750 the dealer will make for selling $1250 below invoice....so feel free to negotiate away boys....
