i have a 2005 impreza rs and its got an injen cold air intake borla headers and apexi cat back. with stock cat. any way i started my car tonight, and it warmed up then all of the sudden the check engine light came on and the cruise control light keeps blinking! i reset my computer by unplugging the batt and i cleaned out the o2 sensor on my intake, but it didn't help. also my throttle is bouncing between 1 grand to an 200 rpms does anyone know what happened and what i can do to fix it

 

bump please read and help if you can! i have a long road trip in a week and i need to get it fixed. but i'd like to know if anyone knows what it might be before i trust a shop to tell me

 

I wish I could help you out, but my best advice is call your local subaru tuning shop. Sorry man! For a sec there, I was going to start off with boost spike/creep and etc. BUT you don't have a turbo, or do you?

 

Pulling the code would go along way towards helping us diagnosis your issue. Do you know any one with a code reader? Can you go by your local Kragen/Auot Zone and have them pull the code for you?

 

yeah i can go do that, tomorrow morning probably. and no it doesn't have a turbo, but i'd like to put one on one day does that help?? haha
