Car Info: A limousine with a chauffer
I think the Altima 0-60 is like 6.42sec and the Forrester XT is in the low 5's (faster than a stock WRX). The 1/4 mile for an XT is also in the looowww 14s to 13s and an Altima is in the mid 14s..
Though I can't figure out how you're really comparing these two cars. The Altima is a 4 door mid-size sedan while the XT is considered an SUV with tons more interior space and a higher ride height than the Altima.
I would go with the XT. AWD is sweet ... so much better than FWD.

Also, look at it this way: Everyone and their grandmother has an Altima. How many Forester XTs do you see on the road? In fact, where I live, I've never seen an XT on the road. Altimas are nice, but Foresters are just cooler.

Pick a car that fits your life style.
what car will you get the most money out of. I would get the forester. I tell you what, there are going to be lots of sti goodies coming this way soon for the forrester. the xt is based on the japanese forester sti. And that one came out 2 yrs ago. It will all trickle down.
