And about trading springs, be sure you trade lock solenoids as well, otherwise you will not get into your trunk from the outside!!

The trunk lid is held in the open position by thin rods which act as torsion bar springs. They vary in rate depending on how much the factory trunk lid weighs. STi trunk lids take a stronger spring to counter-balance the weight of the wing.

I have a 2004 WR Blue WRX (same as the STi) with the wing I would love to trade. I live in Saratoga Springs, NY though. If you find yourself closer to me I might be able to travel some. It is kind of far to Chicago, like 800 miles away (I assume that is where you are). I would not be able to go more than one days round trip away, Buffalo pretty much does it for me. Wish you were closer.

 

do u want to do a straight up trade or do you need cash plus the trade?.......I'm in the chicago area with a 04 WRB.......just curious.....right now i have a set of carbon fiber zerosports wingrisers installed which i really like although i might be interested in doing a swap with you.

I've got a 2002 WRX wing in WRBlue in perfect condition. I have an STI now so I can't do the trade, but I'd be willing to sell it cheap? I'm from the western subs.
