Sti V5 bumper (ie 99-01 2.5RS)

First off, this request is for the SF Bay Area only. Please ignore if you are not from the area. Although I'd like to see what the whole country would pay for the bumper, I think it is way too much of a hassle for me to deal with out of area buyers.

==============================================

I just got a new front bumper for my MY2000 RS and don't think that I will be needing the old one anymore. There is NOTHING attached to it and the bumper will need to be sand-blasted and painted again. The guy who did the repaint did a REALLY crappy job. If there is anybody with the time and resources, it will be a great project. Otherwise, you can have a paint shop redo the whole thing. This is a good OEM aero upgrade for any MY97-01 Outback Sport owners or Impreza L owners. The color currently on the bumper is Aspen White. There are no cracks or dents on the bumper the only problem is the paint. Pics available on request.

Things you will need to get in order to install the bumper...

1.) A set of plastic rivets. Get a set from the Subaru dealer or maybe something from a third party.

2.) Fog lamp Brackets. They attach to the bumper and the fog lamps attach to it.

3.) MY00-MY01 2.5RS Fog Lamps. (self-explanatory) Or you could get the Sti Fog Lamp covers if you donft want Fog lamps.

4.) New Turn signal lamps. I think that the turn signal lamps for this type of bumper is different from any other.

5.) The orange colored "doohickeys". I think that these are the plastic parts that cover the hole below the turn signal lamps.

I am accepting no less than $100 for the bumper. The dealerfs asking price for a new unpainted OEM bumper alone is ~ $240 give or take 10 bucks, so you probably save ~$140.

Optional: You can get an attachment piece to put on the bumper. This should be the same part that is installed onto the Impreza Sti RA/R version 6.

If anybody's interested, PM me.

Tim
