EJ22T block and JDM 2.0 block for sale
The EJ20 block is an early twin turbo block. The EJ20 block is dirty (what do you expect?), but in AMAZING condition. The cylinder walls look new. There are NO (ok, maybe you will find something) scratches in the walls. The honing looks like it is new. The block comes with the oil pump, NO leaks from the front main seal. The rear main seal has crap around it, but it looks like clutch dust mixed with oil, not drippy oil. Best of all the block comes WITH the stock 1991 oil cooler and oil cooler water pump (water goes from the water pump to the oil cooler (where the oil filter is) and then is returned to the coolant system. This block can take some boost! It is like/is an early JDM WRX block.
$350 picked up. Shipping may be available.
2.0 engine pics. Please note the FACTORY oil cooler system (from oil filter area to the special water pump.
The next block is a 1993 EJ22T block that has been prepped for a rebuild.
It was pulled from a 1993 Turbo Wagon which had its Torque Converter lock up and shear. Motor was fine. I pulled it myself from the salvage yard with plans of a new motor for my wagon.
I purchased a NEW turbo waterpump, new rings (Nippo?) are INSTALLED on the stock pistons, NEW ALL METAL HEADGASKETS!!, new rod and main bearings and new gasket set.
But obviously I never put it together. I just don't have the time. I need to rebuild another motor for my brothers, my current motor is getting new heads, and I need the money.
Other items block comes with a USED oil pump, stock/original bolts to reassemble it (which is what you would use no matter what anyway), crossover water pipe. NO heads!
The cylinder walls are in pretty good shape. There is some slight scuffing which is typical of a 160,000 mile EJ22T block, but as also typical, you can still see all the crosshatching!
Asking price is $750 plus shipping (maybe $175?)

Its $700 base bid plus shipping. I have relisted it.
I spent at least $350 on all the new parts. Not to mention the time.
Here is the new auction.
