Your car before getting a subie???
#302
1972 Plymouth Duster (Still have it, but she's not road worthy at the moment), and traded my 1990 Honda Accord 4dr for the Suby. Had over 300,000 miles on it, and never gave me a problem aside from it just being so old that all the rubber was falling apart (bushings, gaskets, etc.) and the auto trans was starting to slip. With some new bushings, refreshed tranny, and new rings/seals/gaskets in the motor, it probably would have gone another 300k miles.
That car + switching to a Suby taught me that Honda's are awesome, but that I really really like AWD!

Mine
I was a Mazda geek before coming over.
First: 1997 Mazda Miata - Classic Red, Leather, Konis, sways...I never should have gotten rid of it
Second: 2004 Mazda RX-8 - Lightening Yellow, loved it, but got freaked out by rumors of engine problems. Glad I got out before resale values went to crap. Paid 22K OTD and traded it in 11 months later (it was a previous model year holdover) for 19K. I got lucky.
Now I have and love my 06 Aspen White STI.
