are you talking about the 337?? the silver only, 2dr GTi? its a nice car, i will say that. but same $$ as an evo... i don't think so.

Now that the subject of the 20th was brought up I have a huge problemn with it! First off the GTi is one of my favorite cars ever. My first GTi was the sole reason that I started getting into tuning and developed a love for driving. When I heard that VW was planning on making a 20th ann. GTi I was all about it. I mean lets show how far the GTi has come in 20 years from 90hp too...Then I found out that we were getting ripped off once again in the U.S.
Whats up with sending a 1.8t over here when they put a 3.2liter VR6 in the euro equivlent? I'm pissed, the 1.8t has 180hp the 3.2 has something like 250hp. And know 4motion (VW AWD system)Why do we always get short handed? I know I shouldn't be complaining I mean we do have the STI, and the EVO is here too, but I'm still a big fan of the GTi. If they brought a 3.2liter 4motion GTi over here I'd buy it over an STI.

BTW, I was under the assumption that Subaru wants their dealerships to sell on sticker price, not markup right now since they're in competition with Mitsu.


Oh, and the R32, should come out here in the states in the next year for about 27K+.

 

Kane, you are mistaking the R32 with the 20th anniversary edition. We are getting the R32 with VR6 and 4-motion also later this year.

 

It just seems wrong when something has the R32 designator and its not a Skyline.

 

i know right? everytime i hear someone talk about the new R32, i get a little confused, then it hits me they're not talking about a nissan...
