selling 5 K over sticker.. roflmao!!
GTi same price as Evo?? Kiss my phat @ss.
maybe they think the Evo and STi s are marked so high, those 24K GTis can get a dip too
nah!
but in fact those 18 inch rims are pretty. same ones as on the R32 pictures

I saw one going down the road on Friday. Had a "rabbit" badge next to the GTI... I thought that was cool having owned an '82 diesel rabbit. That's not worth an extra 5k. I bet it handles like a go-kart though. I have not driven a newer VW.

Now that the subject of the 20th was brought up I have a huge problemn with it! First off the GTi is one of my favorite cars ever. My first GTi was the sole reason that I started getting into tuning and developed a love for driving. When I heard that VW was planning on making a 20th ann. GTi I was all about it. I mean lets show how far the GTi has come in 20 years from 90hp too...Then I found out that we were getting ripped off once again in the U.S.
Whats up with sending a 1.8t over here when they put a 3.2liter VR6 in the euro equivlent? I'm pissed, the 1.8t has 180hp the 3.2 has something like 250hp. And know 4motion (VW AWD system)Why do we always get short handed? I know I shouldn't be complaining I mean we do have the STI, and the EVO is here too, but I'm still a big fan of the GTi. If they brought a 3.2liter 4motion GTi over here I'd buy it over an STI.

Comparison of the three. http://www.vwvortex.com/features/06_03/index.shtml
BTW, I was under the assumption that Subaru wants their dealerships to sell on sticker price, not markup right now since they're in competition with Mitsu.
Oh, and the R32, should come out here in the states in the next year for about 27K+.
