Car Info: '05 Impreza Outback Sport ~ "WTF! Two-Toned?"
We got the car yesterday...
You know, if you pulled off all the stickers and did a bit more work, you just might have something here. It was built by the guy who designed the cars for the 1st and 2nd 'F&F'. In the 1st film he also has a cameo as one of the 'racers' who is playing video games in his car before the 'race'.
Because of this history, this car is built the same (for looks and sound only). It's a full Charge Speed kit. Front, rear, side, hood, trunk & roof diffuser all made of CF. The interior is essentially stock, with a Defi center gauge pod and gauges.
The 'power tweaks' are few. Espelier 3" turbo back exhaust, FMI intercooler by ARC and a dyno tune by XS Tuning...
It's a bit rough from doing the HIN circuit. The only lame move was the wheels, they appear to be +35 offset and this shoves the rears right into the fenders despite being rolled (and poorly rolled, I might add). It also needs to be picked up 1/2-3/4" by adjusting the H&R coilovers.
It turns out this lady is a sweepstakes 'junky' and enters everything ~ she has made "a lot of money" winning all kinds of various sweepstakes.
It's a shame this didn't land in a more appropriate garage.
