I was on my way to class this morning (crusing at 80mph) on the superslab when a Sentra SE (with sport package or it was an SE-R, I'm not sure) goes flyin' by, cutting 4 lanes, back and forth, getting no where. So I see an opening and roll on full throttle in 5th. I start in the far left lane to go over 2 lanes to the opening when "Jack" in the SE(R?) is creaping up on me from the far right lane. I'm already at full throttle so I keep it there and just barely get to the opening before he does....then I stayed at WOT until I realized I was doing 130mph and Jack was gone....I thought he might have been in the SE-R Spec V, but after I slowed down to get a look, I saw no badging...

So my question is: WRX vs Sentra (any trim) in 5th gear roll on??
Obviously, I got him this time....but I don't know if he let off or not??

 

At higher RPMs, you've got about 50 hp on him. No contest.

 

stock Sentra...no contest. If you would have downshifted, you would probably have gotten a much bigger jump.

Check yourself before you wreck yourself!

 

The actual SE with SR20 has no chance. I was actually talking about the SE-R and Spec-V. Quick cars, but not in the WRX's class.
